Best Way to Get Back Into Blogging or Anything After Laziness

[tweetmeme source=”Waqas6” only_single=false]

In short: Do It Now!

(or keep continuing for more)

It’s been 40 days since I haven’t wrote anything on this blog. The only reason I didn’t is Laziness. Yes I have reasons to advocate my absence, but I and you know there is no valid reason to not to do anything when you seriously want to do.

Well, when I’m writing this post there is another tab opened in my browser about 13 Ways To Get Back Into Blogging. I read that, but seriously it didn’t help me.

That’s why I just decided to DO IT! This is because it is only between you and me. I care for the genuine connection between us, and seriously I feel sorry for a long disconnection from my side.

These 40 days have taught me a lot, about myself. I talked to myself, watched movies and ignored that I’ve a blog where me and my friends communicate and learn together.

But I missed it, I missed when a new connection start. I missed the feeling of clicking the Publish Button after writing a post. I missed you all. In fact I missed a big part of me, who’s passionate about Changing World and creating art each single day. Thankfully I’m back. More Thankfully you’re back too.

This is not just my personal assumption that things will be back to normal just because of me. It is because of you people who care.

Believe me if you haven’t done some wonderful thing in a long time. Don’t lose heart, life is not over, nor inside you. Either it is blogging, morning walk, teaching or photography or anything. You can do it because only you can do it.

I’m back, we’re back. Get back, do it! I hope you guys have good health. Say hello if you want. Or share. Also tell me what you have been up to. How did the Easter go?

Thank you all for your care.

Very yours,

Waqas

Gen-Y Can Help You Reinvent Your Business.

Yesterday I read an interesting article about The CEO’s Role In Business Model Reinvention on HBR. The article featured Infosys, one of the largest IT companies in India with 122,468 employees and offices in 33 countries around the model. Over two deacded Infosys achieved many wonderful business milestones.

In article author mentioned that, at Infosys thirty percent of participants in any strategy discussion should be younger than age 30, because they are not wedded to the past.

Problem is, despite reading a lot about the advantages of failures. Many times it effects our future acts in very negative way, people often feel discouragements because of their past failure and try to avoid something new.

Gen-Y is a handful solution to this problem. Good thing about them is that young people think a lot about future, they trust the future, because they have longer to live in it.

They are powerful agents who have grown up questioning its parents and are now questioning employers too. Don’t be afraid, they will help you get out of your comfortzone to CREATE something remarkable.

Find What Doesn’t Work

You see your competitor is progressing much more than you by the time, he is also keeping the pace as well. It might seems that he knows what works , but actually he also knows what doesn’t.

If you want to run something successfuly, go try to solve the problem with a different method. It’ll hopefully be solved and you’ll get what works for you. If it doesn’t work, you’ll know what doesn’t work for you and then get back with something which works for you.

So make sure you know well what doesn’t work for you as well as what does.

We Love Stories. Do You Have One?

Great people like Nelson Mendela, Gandhi or Martin Luther King. They all shared a common thing, the story. They story of the challenges they faced, of the bold steps they took, of believing in themselves.

Every successful person or business is based on the stories and their fans remember them by investigating and talking more and more about their stories. This is way Apple, Facebook or IKEA has many fans, and those fans are continuously sharing the story of their beginning and all up and downs.

You see not every person or business has a story. This is because only bold steps make a great story a story worth sharing and remembering. Even if someone wants to give a great TED Talk, he shares his story.

Watch this talk by Neil Pasricha, where he shares his story and how he started one of Web’s most respected blogs 1000AwesomeThings.com

Now you got it clearly, right? You can not play your full shot unless you create a story. And as we saw earlier in the video, story means taking bold steps and do something wonderful. Which at first might seem very small.

Have you started working on building your story? You must! Please share your story with us, please. If you feel you haven’t one yet, just share what you’re up to, no matter how little it is, this might be start of another great story. Wish you all the best for your story my dear friend. See you in comments.

Deliver Creativity, Deliver Happiness

Yesterday we talked about a basic but very important approach to bring happiness, i.e Deliver Learning, Deliver Happiness, taking it to step further we’ll see what is even more powerful in delivering happiness.

When I say Deliver Creativity it means helping yourself to create something meaningful. And / or helping someone in any super cool way, like unleashing talent in them, or helping them build a great website or just make a cup of tea.

I can bet the first happiest moment in your life was when you started walking. You did something first time and it made happy to you and everyone who was witness. You actually created something new for yourself. You must have said to yourself, “I’m the champion.

That 1 year old is still part of you, you can still get in the world of happiness by doing something new and truly genuine. Believe me you were the champion and you are the champion. Take your step, deliver creativity and fill yourself and this world with happiness. Ciao!
